Venice 'Anima Mundi' Exhibition & Glass Blowing Experience

At the beginning of October, I attended the 'Anima Mundi' Exhibition in Venice, Italy and showcased my 'Friendship Ending' piece from the Bouquet Series.

It was the first time I've visited Venice, and it was an absolute pleasure to be invited to exhibit there. The opening night was buzzing with a great energy and I met many wonderful people.

Glass Blowing Experience & Exploring Venice

After the opening night, my husband and I explored and experience Venice in more detail.

One of the exciting parts, and one I'd recommend to anyone who visits Venice, is to book yourself into a glass blowing class by one of the local glass artists.

​The artist taught us some of the history of glass art in Venice, Murano, and Burano, then shows us different techniques on how to make it. Then, he hands us the glass to mould and bend our own pendant that we could take with us.
