Inspired by the translucency of gelatine food art, "Woman in the Bath X" reflects on transition, hope, and the dreams we carry. Created during my move from Germany back to Australia—my “dreamland”—this piece embodies the emotions of closing one chapter and embracing the next. The flowers, suspended in light, symbolise dreams—delicate yet ever-present, shifting with time and experience. This painting is both a personal reflection and a reminder that no matter where life takes us, our dreams remain, ready to bloom.
