‘The Daydreamer’ is another surreal depiction of the artist’s husband whose mind is extremely creative and imaginative, and often hidden under a somewhat catatonic daze. While the Hospital gown represents the real world, there’s a solemn in acknowledging the freedom that comes from being caught in your own world. Like the sea turtle that swims from ocean to ocean, no matter where you are, your mind is free.
